PURCHASE AGREEMENT

The Buyer, will pay a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $200.00 to secure their position on our waitlist. When the litter is born, then the buyer will pay $300 to complete the reservation of their live puppy for a total of $500 deposited. If the buyer is placing a deposit on a puppy that is already born, then the buyer will pay a $500 deposit at the time of reservation. The deposit is to be paid within 24hrs. If the buyer chooses to not buy the puppy when it comes time for the puppy to go home, the buyer will forfeit the deposits. All money paid towards deposits go towards the final price of your puppy. The seller accepts Apple Pay, Square CashApp, or GoodDog for waitlist fees. The final payment is due in cash when the buyer picks up their puppy. The puppy shall remain with its mother until they are 8 weeks old and/or have been cleared by the vet to take home. The Buyer agrees that all pick-up dates are to be set by the Seller in the best interest of the puppy. If the puppy is not picked up within 5 calendar days of the pick-up date, the seller may then offer said puppy to another owner without any further obligation to the buyer. Seller will do their best to work with everyone’s schedules to arrange a convenient time. The outstanding balance shall be paid to and received by the Seller before the Buyer shall obtain possession of the puppy. The balance due must be paid in cash. I, the Seller, make no guarantee of the puppy’s mature size, or that it will be show or breeding quality. Puppies are secured by deposit in an “as is” state, in reference to your choice of puppy at an early age, where exact color and coat pattern may change, and personality is not apparent. If by tragic accident, the puppy were to die or be determined to have a congenital defect before they go home at at eight weeks old that prevents the puppy from being a companion animal, a full refund of deposit will be given to the Buyer. If the congenital defect affects sight or hearing and is still desired by the Buyer, the puppy will be offered to the Buyer at a discounted rate. The Seller reserves the right to void this transaction and refund the deposit if we feel for any reason the Buyer might not be suitable for the puppy. The Seller has up to 30 days to refund the deposit.
All puppies come with limited registration rights. Full registration rights(breeding rights) are available for $1000 and a commitment to health testing before you will be breeding.

If for any reason you feel like your family is no longer able to care for a Stonewick Retreiver puppy/dog, we will happily open our home to said puppy/dog. Because of the expenses potentially incurred (food/vet/room & board) we do not offer a monetary return, but we would much prefer to take on the responsibility then for one of our dogs to ever live in a situation that wasn’t the best for them, or in a worst case scenario, be sent to a shelter.

HEALTH GUARANTEE

This Health Guarantee is between the original buyer and the seller. Your puppy comes with a (1) year HEALTH GUARANTEE that covers genetic health defects for a period of one (1) year from the date of birth. You must notify Stonewick Retrievers immediately if your puppy becomes ill, isn’t eating well, or shows any unusual signs of distress for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of purchase. You have seventy two (72) hours from the time of purchase to have your puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian. We recommend scheduling this appointment before coming to pick up your puppy. If your puppy is found to have any life threatening or genetic defects, you must notify seller immediately and provide to the seller a written veterinarian's statement that includes the complete diagnosis of the puppy's condition within 24 hours of diagnosis. We reserve the right to have the diagnosis verified by another veterinarian of our choice and/or require you to have specific tests run on the puppy to verify the diagnosis. If the puppy dies and the buyer request a replacement puppy, the buyer understands that they must have a necropsy performed by a State Laboratory, at their expense to determine the cause of death. Their puppy will be replaced or refunded, only if the death was caused by a covered genetic problem or an illness which the puppy had at the time of purchase. If the puppy is replaced, it will be replaced with one of equal value as soon as one becomes available and only after the puppy and all papers have been returned (in satisfactory condition) to seller in Payette, Idaho unless Seller determines a refund is more appropriate. Buyer is responsible for providing all transportation and transportation related costs of transporting puppy/puppies. Puppy must not be euthanized without prior written approval from the seller or this guarantee is void. You understand that your puppy will only be replaced if health problems are life threatening and are attributed solely to a hereditary problem and are not due to accident or injury. We will do our best to replace your puppy with one that is as close your puppies size and color as we can but we do not guarantee that a replacement puppy will be the same size or color. The decision to provide a refund is at the sole discretion of the seller and a replacement puppy is our usual choice. Failure to follow the medical advice and/or treatment instructions of veterinarian or seller will void this guarantee. Seller is not responsible for any veterinarians bills after leaving our home unless previously agreed to in writing by seller. Sellar is not responsible for any expenses incurred while the puppy is in the buyers care. (For example, toys, bedding, classes taken.) No refunds or replacements will be given for conditions that affect a puppy's ability to breed. If a puppy is sold with breeding rights the buyer understand that the seller makes no guarantee as to the puppy being of breeding quality or ability. Stonewick Retrievers does not cover internal or external parasites, hernia, undescended testicles, under or overbite, injuries, allergies, heat exhaustion, or hypoglycemia. Hypoglycemia is preventable with good care and feeding. Because a luxating patella, or hip dysplasia can be caused by injury, they are not covered if they are not discovered during your veterinarian's initial examination. Kennel cough and other communicable diseases are not covered after your veterinarian's initial examination.

This HEALTH GUARANTEE is void if buyer fails to meet any of its terms and conditions. By placing a deposit, I, the buyer, state that I have read, understand, and agree to all of the terms and conditions of this PURCHASE AGREEMENT and HEALTH GUARANTEE.
